BesTivi Privacy Policy

This policy explains how BesTivi handles information when you use the BesTivi Android TV application and this website. BesTivi is an IPTV player and electronic programme guide; it does not provide television channels or IPTV subscriptions.
Information you provide
If you add an Xtream or M3U source, the app stores the source address and credentials on your device so it can connect to the provider you selected. If you enter an epg.best app code, the code is stored on the device and used to request the EPG service.
Information sent to services
To provide imports, EPG matching, programme metadata and security sessions, the app may send source metadata, EPG identifiers, app configuration data and Play Integrity information to BesTivi services. Provider credentials and stream requests are used only to connect to the provider you selected. BesTivi does not relay or proxy your video streams.
External services can include your IPTV provider, epg.best, TMDB and Google Play services. Their own privacy policies apply to their processing.
Purchases
When paid features are offered, Google Play processes payment details. BesTivi does not receive your payment card number. BesTivi may receive a Google Play purchase token or entitlement result to verify access to paid app features.
Storage and retention
Playlist data, provider settings, credentials and EPG caches are primarily stored locally on your device. Server-side request and security logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for operation, abuse prevention and troubleshooting, then deleted or aggregated.
Security
Connections to BesTivi services use HTTPS. Access to protected API features is restricted by server-side authorization and, where available, Google Play Integrity signals. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection against a compromised device.
Your choices
You can remove saved sources and local caches from the app settings and uninstall the app to remove local app data. For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact privacy@bestivi.com.
Children
BesTivi is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The effective date above will be updated with material revisions.
